Every feature, step by step. The menu is under .
Connect Brevo
- Open a Google Sheet and install SheetCrew for Brevo from . During early access we install it for you.
- Open and choose Connect. The first time, Google asks you to allow it to edit the current spreadsheet. It can only see the spreadsheet you are in.
- Create your free SheetCrew account when asked. If you already use another SheetCrew add-on, you are signed in already.
- Paste your API key (starts with xkeysib-). You find it in Brevo under Settings → SMTP & API → API keys → Generate a new API key.
Disconnect removes your Brevo key from your Google account.
Brevo
Brevo has no way to merge contacts. SheetCrew adds one, plus bulk edits and cleanup.
Merge duplicate contacts
- Choose . Every editable attribute gets a column, named as in your account (for example
FIRSTNAME/LASTNAME, orNOMBRE/APELLIDOSon a Spanish account), plus lists and unsubscribe status. - Choose Find duplicates…. Brevo never lets two contacts share an email or SMS number, so duplicates are usually the same person under a second email. Match on names, a company or a custom attribute; the default is first name + last name. Rules work as in Pipedrive.
- Review the ticks and Merge into IDs, then choose Merge checked and type
MERGE.
How a merge works
For each merge, SheetCrew copies the duplicate's values into fields that are empty on the kept contact (it never overwrites), adds the duplicate's lists, writes a full copy of the duplicate to the Log sheet, and then deletes it. If the kept contact has no email or SMS number, the duplicate's moves over, along with its unsubscribe status.
Heads up: email history and deals are not moved, and Brevo can't undo a delete.
Edit attributes and lists
After loading, edit Email, any attribute column, or Lists (list names, comma-separated) in the sheet, then choose Save changes. Clear a cell to empty that attribute. The contact joins lists you add and is taken off lists you delete from the cell.
Remove risky addresses
Choose Find risky addresses to tick malformed addresses, likely typos, throwaway inboxes and shared role inboxes; Matched on says why. Review them, then choose Delete selected contacts and type DELETE. Ticked rows that have a Merge into are left for merging.
